🎄 🍾 Happy holidays and a big THANK YOU from CPC!

As the year comes to a close, we want to take a moment to say thank you to every member of the California Polo Club community. Your enthusiasm, sportsmanship, and commitment are what make this club so special, and we are deeply grateful to share the sport with such an incredible group of people.
Thank you as well to everyone who was able to join us on Saturday for our holiday party. It was wonderful to celebrate the season together and reflect on another memorable year at the club.
2025 was truly an outstanding year for CPC. From Thursday night Polo Under the Lights, to both new and seasoned members competing in PCAL, to the club proudly hosting the 2025 U.S. Open Arena Polo Championships, the level of polo, participation, and camaraderie was exceptional. We are incredibly proud of what this community continues to build together, both in and out of the arena.
Wishing you and your families a joyful holiday season and a happy, healthy New Year. We can’t wait to see what’s ahead in the coming season, and to share many more great chukkers with you all. 🏇✨

📆 CPC January to March Calendar Preview

The new year is shaping up to be an exciting one at CPC, and we’re thrilled to share a preview of what’s ahead from January through March.
We’ll be heading back to the desert for grass polo outings, with plans to host one grass trip per month. These trips are a great chance to play on grass, enjoy a change of scenery, and spend quality time with the CPC community. Specific dates and details will be shared soon.
Back in the arena, we’re also excited to introduce the CPC Arena Tournament, a new structured way to play that emphasizes team building, consistency, and development over time. The league will be organized by level and include:
Lesson-Level Division
Coaching Chukker Division
Intermediate Division
Players will compete with the same team throughout the league, creating stronger teamwork and a more cohesive playing experience. More information including dates, format, and sign-ups will be coming your way shortly.
We can’t wait to kick off the new season together and share what’s ahead!
🏆 U.S. Open Arena Polo Championship Recap Coming Soon

We’ll be sharing a full recap of the U.S. Open Arena Polo Championship presented by U.S. Polo Assn. very soon—but we couldn’t wait to highlight what an incredible finale it was. Stahl Polo triumphed over Bush League to claim the $50,000 first-place prize, closing out an unforgettable championship match.
With nearly 900 spectators filling the stands, the atmosphere was electric and the level of arena polo on display was outstanding. Stay tuned for a complete recap featuring highlights, photos, and behind-the-scenes moments from one of the most exciting events of the season.
2026 USPA Membership Renewal ✅

As the year comes to a close, this is a friendly reminder that it’s time to renew your USPA membership. USPA memberships operate on a calendar-year basis, so renewing before January ensures there’s no lapse in coverage.
Maintaining an active USPA membership is important for several reasons. It provides insurance coverage for each player, and it also directly supports California Polo Club: the USPA allocates funding to clubs based on active member numbers, so your renewal helps strengthen and sustain our program.
Thank you for taking a moment to renew and for your continued support of CPC as we head into the new year!
Lesson Riders → Non-Competing Membership
Perfect for players in lessons who are learning the sport but not yet in competitive chukkers. This level gives you USPA insurance coverage, connects you with the wider polo community, and is a great way to step into the world of polo.
Chukker Players → Full Membership
As a chukker player, you’ll need a full USPA Membership. The pace and contact are much higher, and with that comes different liability. Full membership ensures you’re covered and opens the door to official USPA chukkers and tournaments.
When you join, please remember to list California Polo Club as your host club. This directly strengthens CPC by giving us voting power within the USPA and additional funding support — every member truly makes a difference. 🗳 Join HERE.
📱 Please Download the Partiful App: Your Place For All CPC Event Info!

To help us better coordinate club events and keep everyone in the loop, we ask that all members please download the Partiful app, available in both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Partiful is where we’ll be posting potlucks, sign-ups, and official club events moving forward.
We’ll continue to share key information in our newsletters, but Partiful will always be the most up-to-date source for official CPC event details. Using the app helps us accurately plan for things like food and space—and lets us communicate important updates in a clear, one-to-many way.
We truly appreciate everyone’s help in adopting Partiful. It makes event planning smoother, reduces administrative overhead for club staff, and ultimately helps us put on better, more organized events for the whole community.
Thank you for helping us make CPC events run seamlessly!
From Katty, and the California Polo Club team
Until next time!
